STEVIE B
Stevie B is currently a DJ on Roots FM 95.4 based in NW London. He has been with the station for 4 years. Stevie B has two shows with Roots FM, His first slot is Wednesday 6-8pm, his other show is Sunday morning 8-10am. Stevie B specialises in Reggae, Revival, Lovers Rock and Soca/Zouk.
Stevie B obtains a lot of his music from Websters Records, Shepherds Bush Market. Websters Records are a sponsor of the StevieB shows.
Stevie B hails from the island of Dominica and has been on the music scene since the late 1970s, when he had his own sound system. He played at venues such as Nightmoves in East London, Oasis/Cubies, Mingles and other venues in other parts of the UKsuch Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, Northampton, and Luton.
In 2003 Stevie B formed his own promotion company called `Everyting Plush` with his right hand man Gemini who is also a DJ with Roots FM 95.4. Their first venture was held @ Earls Wine Bar, in the City and was a complete sell out. Other venues included Diamonds in Streatham, Zone Wine Bar in Neasden and other places around the London area.
Plush Promotions as they are now known, holds functions aimed at the mature ravers who like to enjoy themselves.
Plush Promotions also runs family days out, such as twice yearly coach shopping trips to France and Belguim and seaside excursions.
Stevie B is a family man who believes in good old fashioned family morals.
